Grandline Office

Service 05

A complete marketing function. Operated as part of your business.

Grandline provides senior leadership, specialist capability and ongoing execution through one flexible external office.

Desert interchange where separate routes converge into one road
01What you receive · Senior leadership

Direction from someone accountable for it.

A named senior lead sets the plan with your leadership team, sits in management discussions and carries responsibility for marketing performance — the role a marketing director would play, without the full-time hire.

  • Business and marketing alignment
  • Annual and quarterly planning
  • Management participation
  • Priority setting
  • Budget governance
  • Performance review
02What you receive · Specialist execution

The right capability for each quarter.

Brand, content, digital, advertising and events are delivered by specialists brought in as the plan requires, coordinated under one calendar rather than managed as separate suppliers.

  • Brand
  • Design
  • Content
  • Website
  • Advertising
  • SEO
  • Social media
  • Email
  • CRM
  • Events
  • Partnerships
03What you receive · Marketing operations

The function runs, week after week.

Behind the visible work, we manage the calendar, suppliers, lead processes and reporting — the operating discipline that keeps marketing consistent between campaigns.

  • Calendar management
  • Project coordination
  • Supplier management
  • Lead processes
  • Reporting
  • Sales alignment
  • Documentation
04Responsibility

Clear ownership, agreed in writing.

An outsourced function only works when the boundaries are explicit. Each engagement defines what Grandline owns, what stays with the client and which decisions are made together.

Grandline owns

  • Marketing strategy
  • Marketing plan
  • Delivery calendar
  • Campaign execution
  • Creative coordination
  • Channel management
  • Lead-capture process
  • Marketing-pipeline governance
  • Reporting and optimisation

The client owns

  • Product quality
  • Pricing approval
  • Final sales negotiation
  • Customer delivery
  • Credit approval
  • Operational commitments
  • Legal and regulatory responsibility

Shared decisions

  • Budgets
  • Commercial priorities
  • Claims
  • Target accounts
  • Major campaigns
  • Market-entry choices
05Scope note

Scope note

The exact capability included in each Grandline Office is defined in the engagement scope.

Media expenditure, software licences, major production, events and specialist third-party costs are normally budgeted separately.

06The engagement

How the work runs.

Businesses that need a complete marketing function without immediately building a large internal department.

Stages

  1. 01Diagnostic and an agreed annual plan, budget and set of measures
  2. 02A named senior lead, plus the specialist capability each quarter requires
  3. 03One calendar covering campaigns, content, events and sales support
  4. 04Management of suppliers, agencies and production on the client's behalf
  5. 05Monthly reporting and a quarterly review with the leadership team
Timeframe
Engagements normally begin with a 90-day establishment period, then run on a rolling twelve-month basis with quarterly reviews.
Pricing
Monthly fee based on the level of leadership, the specialist mix and the operating responsibility carried. Media, technology and major third-party costs are separate and transparent.

Every engagement is scoped in writing before it begins, with the fee, deliverables and review points agreed in advance.
